With Paul answering mistaken, resident Star Wars professional Jenny gave him a glare and appeared to flippantly punch him within the arm, with one fan calling her response ‘priceless’.
The Chaser has since addressed the video, describing the state of affairs as ‘p**s humorous’.
Paul, who has beforehand opened up about his Parkinson’s diagnosis, wrote on Twitter: ‘Since I’ve given up on anybody’s narrative being “The Parky man is answering lots of questions”, I shall tackle that punch.
‘I do know Candy FA about Star Wars. It simply wasn’t my query to reply. I simply heard a tough T sound twice and assumed the reply have to be Tatooine.
‘As a result of we make errors. Jenny was proper to be offended. Neither of us have been tight to stare at one another. Each of us had completely forgotten that the following query was ours [sic].
‘In that 4 seconds, each of us appeared ridiculous. It was exhilirating on the time, and piss humorous as nicely. It’s humorous when issues go mistaken. I didnt make the identical mistake once more, Jenny by no means punched anybody once more [sic].
‘After 9 months of lockdown, lack of work, guidelines, rules, frustration – it felt superb to get punched by an incredible good friend in a very farcical incident. i simply hadn’t had sufficient of that in 2020.’
